Overview
PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) Splitters are Single-mode splitters with an even split ratio from one input fiber to multiple output fibers. This PLC Splitter is a 1x32, with 1 input and 32 output fibers with an even split ratio across all fibers regardless of input wavelength. PLC Splitters are availble with 900µm loose tube singlemode fiber and terminated or unterminated as per your needs. Unconnectorized PLC splitters come with no connectors for easy splicing or connectorization.
Connectorized PLC Splitters are available with your choice of Fiber Optic Connectors: LC/UPC, LC/APC, SC/UPC, SC/APC, FC/UPC, FC/APC, and ST/UPC.

Planar lightwave circuit (PLC) splitter is a type of optical power management device that is fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology to distribute optical signals from Central Office (CO) to multiple premise locations.
The ABS box type PLC optical splitter uses a plastic ABS box to protect the optical waveguide chip and the optical fiber array board, and has a high level of protection performance, and is suitable for direct application under the construction conditions. Users can customize the ABS box type PLC optical splitters with different split ratios, different cable lengths, and different connector types according to requirements.

Splitters with connectors
1. Attach the connectoirzed end into the adapters one at a time. Match the adapter with the appropriate cable number. Clean SP-APC con- nectors individually as installing into adapters.
2. Mount the splitter metallic housing in the splice tray above the splice holding slots using a cable tie.
3. Route fiber in fiber storage spool areas and back toward splice storage.
4. Document and label fiber routing.
Splitters without connectors
1. Mount the splitter metallic housing in the splice tray above the splice holding slots.
2. Route cable to input fiber to fiber storage spool area.
3. Following fusion splice instructions for fusion splice equipment and using splice covers, splice the input side of the splitter.
4. Repeat for the output side fibers.
5. When each splice is completed cover it with the splice cover. Mount the splices in storage trays.
6. Document and label fiber routing.
