D4 CONNECTOR

The D4 connector is an older generation single mode fiber optic connector with threaded nickel-plated brass body and 2.0mm precision zirconia ferrule.
This connector is available with a Physical Contact (PC) pre-dome ferrule endface as well as with an Angled Physical (APC) ferrule endface. We offer a crimp free and a crimp style version D4 connector, with various boot types and colors.

Brief Introduction

D4 fibre optic connector is probably the first fibre optic connector to use ceramic or hybrid ceramic/stainless steel ferrules.D4 fibre optic connector uses a smaller ferrule (2.0mm ferrule) than SC fibre optic connector or FC fibre optic connector.For the time being,D4 fibre optic connector is not widely used,d4 fiber patch cable and d4 fiber pigtails are also taking more time in production.
