MTP loopback modules are used widely within testing environment especially within parallel optics 40G networks. Devices allow verification and testing of transceivers featuring MTP interface – 40GBASE-SR4/CSR4 QSFP+ devices. Loopbacks are built to link Transmitter (TX) and Receivers (RX) positions of MTP transceivers interfaces. MTP loopbacks can facilitate and speed up IL testing of optical networks segments by connecting them to MTP trunks/patch leads.

The Signamax Optical Fiber Loopback Modules are designed to test and troubleshoot active network equipment. The loopback module is compact yet effective in determining the continuity of a signal from one end to the other.  Offered in both LC, SC, and SM, these little gadgets comply with fast Ethernet, fiber channel, and gigabit Ethernet to fit with a multitude of installations. Optical fiber installments require careful and meticulous handling thus making the loopback module an essential piece to the tool box to establish the source of any issues in the field quickly.
