Pigtail - 0.9mm PVC Jacket
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
FEATURES
Simplex SC/UPC 9/125 Single Mode Fiber Optic Pigtail
The pigtail fiber is also called bare fiber. There is a fiber connector at one end of the pigtail, and the end of the fiber core is broken at the other end. One end of the fiber connector is used to connect equipment, and the end of the fiber core is broken from other fiber cores. The heads are welded together for minimal insertion loss. The structure of pigtails and jumpers is very similar. In simple terms, the jumpers are two pigtails cut from the middle. The SC type pigtail connector has a rectangular housing and the fixing method is a plug-and-pin latch type, which has the advantages of high temperature resistance, convenient operation, and small loss fluctuation.

Fiber Optic Pigtail - Ideal for Splicing
Advanced grinding technology and grinding equipment are adopted to ensure that the core has no offset, no scratches, no optical fiber sag, and uniform curvature radius of the end surface.
Two Important Methods for Fiber Optic Pigtail Splicing
Fiber optic pigtail assemblies are utilised in terminating fiber optic cables via fusion or mechanical splicing.
Use of pigtails
1. The pigtail avoids the loop as much as possible during use, which can reduce the attenuation of the optical signal during transmission.
2. The optical module connected to the pigtail must be matched with the pigtail fiber. The shortwave optical module must be connected to the multimode pigtail. The longwave optical module must be connected to the singlemode jumper to ensure the accuracy of data transmission.
3. The pigtail connector should be kept clean. After use, the connector should be protected and sealed with a protective sleeve to prevent oil, dust and mechanical damage.
4、Before use, the tail fiber ceramic ferrule and the ferrule end face cotton must be wiped clean with alcohol.
5. When there is damage to the pigtail caused by man-made or other factors, replace the damaged jumper in time.
